There is enough suffering, ill-will, anger, bitterness, resentment, grudges, regret, and the rest of it without having to perpetuate these things.
As human beings, we have the unique and powerful privilege to create and to spread light or darkness based upon our decisions - which manifest themselves in thought, intention, words, and deeds.
Remember that you can choose to keep your side of the street clean regardless of whether others are trashing their sides.
You don't owe it to anyone but yourself.
